Recently I did a job to design a shirt graphic for a Multiple Sclerosis fund-raising marathon event. Good cause, but bad design. It made me think of all the times myself and other designers have had to bite their tongue for a check. Work is work. And until you have your own line of goods to sell off or a style so unique and in demand that everyone wants you to do their marketing campaign, you have to do as the client wants. Sell your design soul and get your money to put a roof over your head and food in your mouth. It’ll all pay off one day
